An interest in ‘environmental’ portraiture led me into fashion and portfolio photography.

I enjoy making creative use of studio space, as well as the clarity and crispness that can be achieved with studio-based images.

My product photography has covered food photography, clothing, and a diverse range of still-life style object photography; primarily for use on websites but also for traditional print-based media.

Location shoots pose the most interesting problems - finding creative solutions to lighting and background conundrums often opens up interesting new avenues of inquiry.

My fine art work is largely project driven, and often originates with university assignments.

I am currently experimenting with traditional darkroom techniques, and alternative processes.
